Did you know?

Marshmallows date back to ancient Egypt, where they were made from the sap of the mallow plant and honey as a treat for royalty!
Today’s fluffy version evolved in the 19th century when French confectioners whipped the sap with sugar and egg whites.
The modern recipe uses gelatin for that signature soft texture.
Marshmallows aren’t just for s’mores - they can be frothed into lattes, melted into hot chocolate, or even toasted for a caramelized crunch.
Fun fact

Whipped cream has been delighting taste buds since the 16th century! Originally called “milk snow,” it was whipped by hand using willow branches.
The first recorded recipe appeared in Italy in the 1500s, and by the 17th century, it was a favourite in French cuisine.
Today, this airy delight is made by whipping heavy cream with just the right amount of air to create its signature fluffiness. Whether dolloped on hot chocolate, topping a slice of pie, or blended into a creamy coffee, whipped cream adds a touch of indulgence to any treat! ☕🍰
