As we step into November, we’re filled with gratitude for the warmth of our New Malden community and the joy of the recent school holidays.
Halloween has brought families together for fun and laughter, and we loved seeing everyone’s creative costumes and smiles as trick-or-treaters filled the streets. This season reminds us of the beauty of togetherness and the joy that comes from making memories with those we love.
Our theme for the week, inspired by Helen Keller’s words, is “Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.” Let’s embrace these values as we power through the rest of the year with focus and positivity to what we can achieve in our personal life, our families and our community.
We’re grateful for each of you and look forward to being part of your holiday moments. Here’s to a productive November, with more time for relaxation, love, and community just around the corner.

Visitors can indulge in festive food and drink, including mulled wine and artisanal snacks, all while enjoying live entertainment and a cheerful atmosphere.
The market not only showcases local artisans but also supports community spirit, making it a perfect destination for festive shopping and celebration.
Did you know?

A fascinating fact about Kingston upon Thames is that it is home to one of the oldest surviving bridges in London, the Kingston Bridge, originally built in 1209.
The bridge spans the River Thames and has been a crucial crossing point for centuries, facilitating trade and travel. Its historical significance is complemented by the charming riverside setting, which features scenic walkways and parks.
The area around the bridge has been a hub for community events and leisure activities, making it a beloved landmark for both locals and visitors.
Review of the week

Florence Taylor shared a delightful review with us, highlighting her enjoyable brunch experience on a recent Sunday morning.
"We had a lovely brunch here Sunday morning. We had 'the special' minus the ham. Would definitely come back and try some of their other food options. Plenty of seating."
Thanks Florence! See you again soon!
